What to expect in the Restore Series: The ADHD Brain Part 1. 

Topics in this presentation include the Neurodivergent Brain, the Limbic Operating System of the Brain and Prefrontal Cortex of the Brain.  This class will explore brain differences in neurodivergent youth populations, specifically focusing on ADHD.  This class is designed for parents, caregivers, teachers, adults and children to learn together in order to gain insight into emotional regulation and understanding the importance of developing executive functioning skills.  Learners will be able to distinguish between these important areas of the brain.  Activities to enhance learning are offered throughout this course.

Meg Rogers is the founder of Hopeful Living Today and a presenter in the Restore Series.  The inspiration for Hopeful Living Today emerged in 2022 when the need for mental health for youth surged and so did the need for parents to receive tools/support to help youth.

Meg has a degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Counseling.  For over 20 years, Meg has been dedicated to helping youth, parents, and teachers in various capacities support and treat mental health conditions in minors.  Meg's passion for wellness and wholeness as well as Meg's anthropological viewpoint that all persons are created with dignity and purpose are interwoven in her classes.  Meg's expertise on the subject matter is greatly enhanced by also walking in the foot-steps of parents having parented her own children with mental health conditions.  

Meg's educational background also includes various credentials in play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.  Meg is currently persuing an additional degree in spiritual direction for youth and adults
